The Clinical Science of Restorative Performance
& Sleep optimization
We approach sleep not as a passive state of rest, but as a critical, optimizable system that dictates cognitive output, metabolic health, and executive performance. Whether managing complex clinical pathologies or designing fatigue-mitigation programs for corporate workforces, our methodology is anchored in rigorous science, decades of high-volume clinical execution, and a firsthand understanding of sustained physical and mental output.
The Medical Leadership
True physiological optimization requires an uncompromising medical foundation. Our clinical protocols are directed by Dr. Parham Gharagozlou a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), holding dual board certifications in Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine.
With over 25 years of medical experience, this leadership brings an unparalleled depth of knowledge to the neurology and pharmacology of sleep. The scientific foundation of this expertise began with highly specialized postdoctoral work in neuropharmacology at the VA Palo Alto for the Molecular Research Institute—an advanced research cooperative founded by Stanford University scientists. After being elevated to Co-Principal Investigator on a targeted R01 NIH grant, this intensive research background was subsequently translated into clinical application through specialized training at the New Jersey Neuroscience Institute under world-renowned authorities in sleep disorders. This diagnostic expertise was further solidified during a two-year early career tenure as a teaching attending physician at Rochester General Hospital, guiding the next generation of medical professionals.
Today, in addition to directing our private clinical enterprise, Dr. Gharagozlou maintains an active staff position at John Muir Health, ensuring ongoing alignment with top-tier regional hospital systems.
Beyond the clinic, our leadership intimately understands the physiological demands of peak performance. As a lifelong athlete with 30 years of dedicated, high-level engagement in tennis and skiing, alongside holding a black belt in martial arts, there is a deep, personal comprehension of what it takes to sustain rigorous physical and cognitive output. Recognized as a Marquis Who's Who Top Doctor and a published author of peer-reviewed research, we do not simply treat the surface symptoms of fatigue; we decode the underlying neurobiological mechanisms driving them to deliver highly precise, data-backed clinical interventions.
Advanced Clinical Sleep Medicine: Beyond Apnea
For 17 years, our clinical enterprise has served as a cornerstone of advanced sleep medicine. While many practices focus solely on basic sleep apnea management, our diagnostic capabilities extend far beyond standard CPAP therapy.
Operating out of our dedicated clinical facilities in Concord and Antioch, and supported by a robust statewide telehealth presence, we manage the most complex, multi-layered sleep disorders. From intractable insomnia and circadian rhythm dysfunctions to restless legs syndrome and daytime fatigue, we leverage cutting-edge diagnostic technology and continuous remote patient monitoring to deliver definitive care.
Executive Health & Corporate Performance
High-stress environments, demanding travel schedules, and relentless corporate responsibilities actively degrade sleep architecture. To combat this, we offer concierge-level physiological mapping for global executives and targeted fatigue-mitigation consulting for entire corporate workforces. By integrating continuous biometric data with rigorous medical diagnostics, we build highly individualized protocols that transform restorative sleep from a liability into a measurable performance asset.
